Analyst (UAE National) - Cyber Security & Data Analytics

As an Analyst at KPMG Lower Gulf, you will collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, security needs, and data challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and supporting the development of security strategies, policies, and frameworks.
• Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support client decision-making.
• Participating in the development of dashboards, models, and reports that provide actionable insights.
• Assisting in proposal development and client presentations.
• Preparing high-quality documentation, including audit reports, strategy roadmaps, and policy templates.
• Contributing to internal knowledge development and mentoring junior team members.
• Staying current on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regional regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, or technology consulting (internships welcome).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC are a plus.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and UAE NESA.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and exposure to analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and report writing skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel within the UAE as required.
• Available to start immediately.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
