We are looking for an ambitious UAE National to join our team as an Analyst. In this role, you will provide credit advisory and support services to BCO Managers and Relationship Managers (RMs) / Coverage. You will coordinate and complete credit applications or renewals, manage risk escalation, and implement a reliable underwriting and lending process that serves our clients' borrowing needs while protecting the business from exposure. You will report to the BCO Manager and work closely with Coverage and Transaction Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of BCO tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Support the end-to-end Credit & Lending servicing journey, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the Relationship Manager with credit analysis and the timely submission of credit proposals for facilities for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Liaise with relevant teams for the preparation of facility letters and other internal security documents, ensuring completeness of security documentation prepared by external legal counsel.
  • Proactively manage the credit quality of the supported portfolio by conducting periodic credit reviews, tracking compliance with covenants, and escalating deviations to the Risk team.
  • Actively participate in training sessions to develop credit skills, product knowledge, industry knowledge, and client management skills.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and adherence to regulatory, financial, and legal standards to minimize business and reputational risks.
  • Support the BCO Manager and Team Lead on ad-hoc requirements and initiatives to streamline the credit & lending process.
  • Participate in deal discussions and meetings with clients as required.
  • Act as the First Line of Defence and uphold all controls to protect the company.
  • Maintain company internal control standards and address any issues raised by external regulators.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience at a boutique advisory or big four institution is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
  • Analytical with a keen eye for details.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience in ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory.
