Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the requirements and define the gaps
- Write test cases to cover the requirements
- Execute test cases and report defects with severity and priority
- Perform manual testing execution
- Automation testing experience is a plus
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Proficiency in Agile methodology is essential
- Knowledge of JIRA is necessary
- Awareness of payment systems is beneficial
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
