Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with a minimum of 5 years of coding experience in Android and Kotlin, focusing on creating high-performance Enterprise Mobile Applications at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of object-oriented software development, Android SDK, and its design patterns, alongside experience with large and complex code bases, including API design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications throughout their full lifecycle, from initial build to shipping via the Google Play Store.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Android Architecture Components, multi-threading, memory management, and caching mechanisms.
• Engage in CI/CD principles and participate in troubleshooting issues within a distributed services ecosystem.
• Design intuitive and clean APIs that are maintainable.
• Follow best practices for coding, security, unit testing, and documentation.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with MVVM, Clear Architecture, Dependency Injection (DI), and Functional Programming.
• Experience with Firebase is a plus.

Functional Skills:

• Adhere to Agile methodologies and ensure quality in technical architecture and system design.
• Research and benchmark technologies against industry standards.

Soft Skills:

• Must be able to influence multiple teams and enhance productivity by sharing technical knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with senior and executive management.
