Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team at the company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of coding experience in Android and Kotlin, focusing on creating high-performance Enterprise Mobile Applications on a global scale. The work conditions are hybrid and full-time, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented software development and the Android SDK, including its design patterns.
• Experience with large and complex code bases, employing API design techniques to ensure maintainability and cleanliness.
• Design clean and maintainable APIs.
• Exposure to Android Architecture Components and the full lifecycle of Android Apps, including building and deploying applications through the Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of multi-threading, memory management specific to mobile devices, and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and troubleshooting issues within distributed systems.
• Understanding of MVVM, Clear Architecture, Dependency Injection, and Functional Programming.
• Experience with Firebase and adherence to best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
• Engage in Agile methodology and ensure quality in technical and application architecture across the organization.
• Research and benchmark technology against industry best practices.

• Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, enhancing productivity and effectiveness through shared knowledge and experience.
• Self-motivated and capable of driving initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to present ideas to Senior and Executive management.
