Android Developer

About the Job:
the company is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of coding experience in Android and Kotlin, with a proven track record of creating high-performance enterprise mobile applications on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented software development, Android SDK, and its design patterns.
• Familiarity with large and complex code bases, including clean and maintainable API design techniques.
• Experience with Android Architecture Components and the full lifecycle of Android apps, including shipping through the Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of multi-threading, memory management, and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD principles and troubleshooting in a distributed services ecosystem.
• Awareness of MVVM, Clear Architecture, Dependency Injection, and Functional Programming.
• Adhere to best practices in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation.
• Demonstrate experience in Agile methodology and ensure quality in technical architecture and design across the organization.
• Research and benchmark technology against best-in-class standards.
• Influence multiple teams on technical considerations to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

Desired Skills:

• Strong familiarity with Android SDK, coding best practices, and application security.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Education Requirements:

• Degree or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is preferred.
