Android Developer

Synechron is seeking an experienced Android Developer with at least 5 years of coding experience in Android and Kotlin, focused on creating high-performance Enterprise Mobile Applications at a global scale. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of object-oriented software development, Android SDK, and its design patterns. Familiarity with large and complex code bases and API design techniques is essential for maintaining clean and manageable systems.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficient with Android Architecture Components and the full lifecycle of Android Apps, including shipping through Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of multi-threading, memory management specific to mobile devices, and caching mechanisms.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles.
• Proficient in MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection (DI), and Functional Programming.
• Familiarity with Firebase.

Functional Skills:

• Adherence to best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Ensuring quality of technical and application architecture across systems.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to influence teams on technical decisions, driving productivity and effectiveness.
• Self-motivated and capable of independently managing projects while collaborating across teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively present ideas to senior and executive management.
