As an Android Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in product development, leveraging your experience to deliver high-quality applications. Your responsibilities will include creating new features, influencing product strategy, and setting high standards for design, UX, and architecture. You will work in a highly international and collaborative environment with cross-functional teams comprising design, engineering, data, and product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and development using Kotlin and associated technologies.
- Participate in technical decision-making regarding frameworks, libraries, and CI/CD processes.
- Uphold high architecture and quality standards while defining best coding practices.
- Engage fully in the product development process to build a best-in-class mobile application.
- Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Own performance benchmarking, monitoring, and optimization.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as an Android engineer.
- Expert-level knowledge of Android fundamentals, Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flows, Jetpack Compose, MVVM Architecture, and API Integration.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality apps with a strong affinity for design, UX, and excellent UI implementation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Self-directed, analytical, highly responsible, and a team player.
Additional Capabilities:
- Computer Science Degree (or similar education).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, with experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with A/B Testing and Feature Flags.
