We are seeking a highly skilled Android Engineer with strong expertise in Kotlin to join our mobile development team. You will build and maintain high-performance, secure, and user-friendly Android applications that power the company’s global trading platforms. This role requires a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building exceptional mobile experiences for fintech and trading users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring top performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to define, develop, and deliver new features.
  • Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
  • Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Integrate applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
  • Maintain and improve the Android codebase, ensuring scalability and long-term maintainability.
  • Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Android frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and perform regular code reviews to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Android development, with deep expertise in Kotlin.
  • Proven experience developing and launching Android applications in fintech or trading environments.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP).
  • Proficiency in Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and accessibility.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
  • Strong focus on mobile security and implementing secure coding standards.
