Step into the role of Android Engineer and be at the forefront of our product development journey. This position requires an experienced developer with a track record of delivering high-quality applications. You will be responsible for creating new features from inception to release in the App Store, focusing on design, UX, and architecture. Your influence will play a critical role in product strategy, impacting users' experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and development using Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, and Kotlin Flows.
- Make technical decisions regarding frameworks, libraries, patterns, and CI/CD processes.
- Set high standards for architecture and coding practices.
- Fully participate in product development to build a best-in-class mobile application.
- Collaborate closely with product management and design to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Own performance benchmarking, monitoring, and optimization.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Android engineer.
- Expert-level knowledge of Android fundamentals, Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flows, Jetpack Compose, MVVM Architecture, and API Integration.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality apps.
- Strong affinity for design and UX, with excellent UI implementation skills.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards.
- Self-directed, analytical, responsible, and a team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Other Requirements:
- Computer Science Degree (or similar education).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, with tools such as Azure DevOps, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with A/B Testing and Feature Flags.
