We are seeking an Android Engineer with deep expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development to help build the next generation of the company’s trading applications. You will work on highly performant, secure, and scalable Android apps used globally by retail and institutional traders. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, understands real-time trading UX, and consistently delivers high-quality mobile experiences. You will collaborate across product, backend, QA, and design teams to deliver powerful and intuitive fintech features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
  • Build highly performant, secure, and reliable features for global trading users.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver new capabilities.
  • Implement secure coding standards, encryption, and best practices for data protection.
  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness across a wide range of Android devices.
  • Integrate applications with backend APIs, WebSocket feeds, and third-party services.
  • Maintain a clean, scalable codebase following MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack best practices.
  • Write comprehensive unit tests, UI tests, and automation scripts to ensure application stability.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce high engineering standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies, Google guidelines, and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Android development, with strong command of Kotlin.
  • Proven experience delivering and maintaining Android apps in fintech, trading, payments, or other high-security environments.
  • Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, Coroutines, Flows, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
  • Strong experience with RESTful API integrations, WebSockets, and real-time data handling.
  • Proficiency with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and modular codebases.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive layouts, and accessibility.
  • Experience with JUnit, Espresso, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile security, encryption, secure storage, and data protection principles.
