Angular JS Developer

Virtusa is seeking an experienced Angular JS Developer to join their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should possess a degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent industry experience. This is a hybrid, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on coding experience in Angular JS, HTML, and JavaScript, focusing on creating high-performance Enterprise Applications for mobile and web.
• Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Create custom, general-use modules that extend core AngularJS functionality.
• Architect and automate the build process for production using task runners or scripts.
• Experience in the Banking or Retail domains is essential.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficient in writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to coordinate workflows between graphic designers and HTML coders.
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and JavaScript methods for optimizing visual performance.
• Solid understanding of platform responsibilities, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other web services.
• Experience with writing non-blocking code and applying advanced techniques such as multi-threading.
• Proficient documentation of code using JSDoc or other conventions.
• Familiarity with front-end operations, using both vanilla JavaScript and custom wrappers.
• Knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, Angular Material, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with external libraries like Devote and store management.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to influence multiple teams regarding technical considerations to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Self-motivated and self-starting, with a proven ability to own projects and collaborate with teams across the organization.
