Angular JS Developer

We are seeking an experienced Angular JS Developer to join our team at Virtusa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding and developing enterprise applications using Angular JS, HTML, and JSS, with a focus on achieving high performance for both mobile and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Create custom modules that extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS.
• Architect and automate the build process for production using task runners or scripts.
• Ensure performance optimization by writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree, Post graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of coding experience in Angular JS, HTML, and JSS.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in banking or retail domains is required.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects.
• Understanding of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services.
• Experience in writing non-blocking code and employing advanced techniques like multi-threading.
• Familiarity with Node.js, JavaScript, Angular Material, Bootstrap, and external libraries such as Devolte and store management.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations to enhance productivity.
• Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively without supervision.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is expected.
