API Connect Architect

The company is a leading technology services partner delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are looking for a skilled API Developer with proven experience in API Connect v10 and a strong understanding of administrative functions. The ideal candidate should also have secondary expertise in IBM DataPower for handling enterprise integrations and gateway-level configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in problem determination, troubleshooting, backup & recovery.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect v10.
• Administer and monitor API Connect subsystems — Manager, Analytics, Developer Portal, and Gateway.
• Configure DataPower Gateway as API runtime; manage certificates, domain policies, and services.
• Implement and manage OAuth 2.0 Provider, including JWT support and custom token handling.
• Handle TLS/SSL configurations, mutual TLS, keystores, truststores, and certificate management.
• Integrate user authentication and authorization with LDAP user registries.
• Maintain API environments through version upgrades, backup, and patching.
• Develop GatewayScript and custom policies for advanced request/response transformation.
• Support secure message flows with encryption, decryption, message signing, and validation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams for CI/CD, automation, and configuration management.

Key Requirements:

• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
