Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing APIs using IBM API Connect, ensuring scalability, security, and adherence to performance standards.
- Proficiency in building RESTful services, XML/JSON, and managing the full API lifecycle, including creation, deployment, and versioning.
- Experience with API security protocols like OAuth, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
- Monitoring and analyzing API performance and usage, as well as creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Supporting troubleshooting for API-related issues and integrating services with IBM Datapower.
The developer will also be responsible for delivering technical services for Multi-Tier & SOA Architecture, preparing technical design documents, and contributing to SOA best approach strategies. This role includes supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), incident tracking, and operational support post go-live. Documentation and service ownership are critical aspects, requiring the maintenance of accurate records and process improvements.
