We are seeking a skilled App Innovation Technical Specialist to join our UAE App Innovation Specialist Sales Unit within the CEMA region. In this dynamic role, you will act as a catalyst, empowering our cutting-edge Elite Customers Portfolio to fully exploit the capabilities of Azure, with a focus on app development, PaaS, DevOps, GitHub, and AI.

As our technical authority on application innovation and development, your responsibilities will include delivering compelling presentations, engineering impactful demonstrations, and steering proofs of concept that encourage the adoption of our solutions. Your role is instrumental in fostering customer relationships, influencing pivotal decision-makers, and accelerating app innovation by illustrating how our technology can address tangible business problems.

In this role, your profound understanding of the Azure app development landscape, databases, and AI will be crucial. You will need to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including technical peers and senior executives, ensuring they recognize the strategic value of Azure PaaS in driving business and technological growth. You will collaborate closely with our sales and partner ecosystems to devise and implement strategies that identify fresh opportunities, driving incremental sales and impactful use cases across the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance on Azure application innovation, databases, AI, DevOps, and GitHub, utilizing advanced app coding techniques.
• Assist customers with app modernization strategies and the required technical architecture to implement comprehensive intelligent solutions on Azure, leveraging best practices.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of orchestration tools like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), enabling customers to manage, scale, and deploy containerized applications seamlessly.
• Architect solutions that efficiently support multitenancy, enabling optimized resource utilization and cost-effectiveness without compromising isolation and security between tenants.
• Act as a trusted advisor to our top clients, helping them incorporate Azure App/AI development services into their overarching cloud strategy and recommending modernization paths and architectures in the cloud.
• Conduct architectural design sessions to establish implementation plans aligned with customer business objectives and technical infrastructure.
• Guide customers through complex scenarios involving hybrid and multi-cloud container deployments, ensuring seamless integration and management across various platforms.
• Address customer readiness challenges including security, performance, scalability, and intellectual property considerations.
• Engage with customers and collaborate with account and partner teams to drive new opportunities, resolve technical obstacles, and contribute strategies to expedite deal closures.
• Stay informed about advancements and trends in cloud app and AI development to ensure our team and solutions remain at the industry's forefront.
• Influence Azure app innovation strategy by advocating for customer needs and requirements.
• Act as an Azure Apps/AI Platform evangelist, inspiring customers, partners, and the external community and fostering developer communities through various outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Strong experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting roles with 5+ years of experience.
• Application innovation and development background with 5+ years of experience, preferably on Azure.
• AI and open-source databases development background with 5+ years of experience, preferably on Azure.
• Technical passion with a good understanding of cloud architectural patterns leveraging managed or Platform-As-A-Service offerings, rearchitecting monolithic applications with cloud-native technologies, related databases, and modern DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with competitive application development services across public clouds (e.g., AWS, GCP, Oracle) is a plus.
