We are looking for a strategic and hands-on App Store Optimization (ASO) Manager to support our global app growth efforts. This role will concentrate on enhancing organic visibility, driving app traffic, and optimizing in-app conversions. The successful candidate will execute ASO strategies, explore alternative app acquisition channels, and work across various teams to enhance the install-to-activation funnel performance.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • App Store Optimization

    • Execute ASO updates and experiments across the App Store and Google Play
    • Conduct deep keyword research, competitor tracking, and metadata optimization to improve rankings and conversion
    • Drive creative testing (icons, screenshots, videos) through store listing experiments
    • Collaborate with design and localization teams for regionally relevant assets
    • Monitor algorithm updates and store policy changes for compliance and performance
  • Organic App Traffic Growth

    • Identify and scale alternative acquisition sources (cross-app placements, OEM placements, referral programs)
    • Collaborate with BD, community, and product teams on co-marketing or ecosystem-driven acquisition initiatives
  • In-App Conversion & Funnel Optimization

    • Partner with product, CRM, and UX teams to enhance onboarding and activation
    • Implement deep linking and smart banners for re-engagement
    • Champion experimentation around in-app triggers to drive early value realization
  • Measurement & Insights

    • Work with data and analytics to measure LTV and guide prioritization

Qualifications:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in ASO, mobile growth, or product marketing
  • Strong knowledge of ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, Sensor Tower) and app analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel)
  • Experience collaborating with product and UX teams to improve in-app onboarding
  • Strong data literacy and project management skills across global teams
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
