Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the application portfolio, application architecture views, reference architectures, and lifecycle roadmaps.
- Assess application fit, health, technical debt, duplication, integration dependencies, and alignment to business capabilities.
- Define target-state application architecture, application rationalization recommendations, and transition roadmaps.
- Review solution designs, architecture documents, and non-functional requirements for compliance with EA principles and standards.
- Work with solution, data, infrastructure, security, and integration teams to ensure coherent end-to-end designs.
- Establish traceability between business capabilities, processes, applications, data entities, interfaces, and technology components.
- Support application modernization, cloud adoption, package selection, and migration initiatives with architecture guidance.
- Contribute to architecture governance, design reviews, exceptions management, standards, and EA repository quality.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of application architecture patterns, API-led integration, service-oriented design, and application lifecycle management.
- Practical knowledge of TOGAF and ArchiMate application-layer modeling; ability to create actionable architecture views.
- Experience assessing application portfolios, technical debt, application health, fit-for-purpose and rationalization opportunities.
- Familiarity with cloud, security, data, and integration considerations in enterprise solution design.
- Strong stakeholder-management, analytical, documentation, and design-review skills.

Qualifications
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in application architecture, solution architecture, systems analysis/design, application portfolio management, or a closely related role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Certification: TOGAF certification is required or strongly preferred. ArchiMate, cloud architecture, integration, ITIL, or relevant platform certifications are advantageous.
Technical Background: Experience with enterprise applications, APIs/integrations, application lifecycle management, and modernization is required.
