Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement software applications, software components, and unit tests.
- Implement new features based on business requirements.
- Work closely with other developers, UI/UX designers, business analysts, and QA Team.
- Develop and maintain quality and scalable software products, including documentation.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
- Assist in enhancing existing software components and adding new features.
- Provide timely updates to the Technical Team Lead and Software Development Manager.
- Regularly engage with support tickets from the Business Team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Graduation/Post Graduation in Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Data Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the application development domain.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
- In-depth understanding of modern software development technologies like .Net 6, Angular, JQuery, and Blazor.
- Proficient in programming languages C# and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with SQL Developer, Toad, and SQL Management Studio is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Communications and Working Relationships
The job holder will interact with all departments within the organization and with other service providers. They must ensure effective communication between departments for smooth operations and to achieve organizational objectives. The job holder should be able to foster strong internal and external communication standards.
Operating Environment
The job holder works in an air-conditioned environment and spends most of the day at a desk. Working hours are flexible according to a weekly schedule, within the boundaries of UAE labor law. The position does not expose the job holder to any obvious hazards.
