Responsibilities and Duties
- Developing and implementing software applications, software components, and unit tests.
- Implementing new features based on business requirements.
- Working closely with other developers, UI/UX designers, business analysts, and the QA team.
- Developing and maintaining quality and scalable software products and documentation.
- Testing software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software.
- Assisting in enhancing existing software components and adding new features.
- Providing timely updates to the Technical Team Lead and Software Development Manager.
- Regular involvement in support tickets from the Business Team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Graduation/Post Graduation in Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Data Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the application development domain.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
- In-depth understanding of modern software development technologies like .Net 6, Angular, JQuery, and Blazor.
- Strong command of programming languages C# and PL/SQL is a must.
- Good familiarity with SQL Developer, Toad, and SQL Management Studio is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work toward meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Communications and Working Relationships
The job holder interacts with all Departments within the organization and other service providers. It is essential to ensure seamless communication between all departments for smooth operations and to achieve organizational objectives. The role requires fostering strong internal and external communication standards.
Operating Environment
The job holder works in an air-conditioned environment and spends most of the day at a desk. Working hours are flexible according to the weekly schedule within the boundaries of the UAE labor law. The job holder is not exposed to any obvious hazards.
