Application Engineer (CoC) – Electrical Products

The company Smart Infrastructure is seeking an Application Engineer for the Center of Competence of Electrical Products business unit. The focus of this role involves the design, engineering, and application development activities of Low Voltage Switchgears, supporting the company's partners across the Middle East Region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze tender documents and customer requirements to develop compliant and competitive proposals.
• Prepare and submit tenders for low voltage electrification projects.
• Create project designs and determine configurations based on customer requirements.
• Conduct detailed design and engineering activities, including manufacturing drawings and network architectures.
• Provide network calculations such as load flow analysis and short circuit studies.
• Develop selection guidelines and quotation tools to support partners and provide technical support during both tendering and project execution phases.
• Participate in customer presentations and ensure alignment with Sales Teams for effective project realization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
• Experience in low voltage power distribution systems, motor control centers, and related standards.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in engineering, design, or tendering, preferably in a multinational setting.
• Proficiency in software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
