The Application Engineer will assist sales representatives and customers by identifying the optimal solutions for their applications. This role involves providing both commercial and technical support to customers while striving to deliver high-quality customer service. The Application Engineer will be based at Emerson FZE, Dubai, working with key customers in the MEA region.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide Applications Engineering, Technical, and Pricing Support for the Appleton IEC and NEC ETO product line.
- Generate quotes based on customer specifications and project requirements.
- Size and select Appleton products and prepare customer quotations that are technically accurate and commercially verified.
- Engage in technical calls and meetings with customers as necessary.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams for root-cause analysis and provide detailed technical presentations to customers.
- Ensure purchase orders comply with quotations and agreed terms before sharing with relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate records in Emerson tools and track customer queries during order execution.
- Align with Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in the industry, knowledgeable in hazardous area NEC & IEC standards.
- Ability to read and analyze customer SLD/Schematic drawings according to NEC or IEC standards.
- Familiarity with engineered-to-order products and design concepts for distribution panels, starters, etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or 3D modeling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of classified areas and CompEx certification is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
