About the Role
The candidate will be responsible for work in a project environment, encompassing study phases through to designing, implementation, documentation, delivery, and maintenance of Digital Integration solutions primarily within the Middle East region. A key goal will be to optimize project productivity and quality by driving and maintaining standardization. The candidate will also support sales through presentations, demonstrations, and participation in Proof of Concepts (PoC). Digital Integration solutions require skills across various fields, including APM, UI/UX, equipment maintenance, and data science techniques. Depending on their expertise, candidates may be expected to work across some or all of these areas.

The successful applicant will apply software technologies to implement Asset Performance Management (APM), Operations Management, and other HCI solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical, and Minerals after receiving appropriate initial training in relevant packages. These applications may be deployed either on-premise or in the cloud. This position is a direct staff role with an average billability of >= 90% to external customer projects, intercompany projects, and customer support services.
Reporting
The applicant will report directly to the Engineering Manager for Digital Integration.
Skills / Experience
We are seeking Saudi nationals for this position. The ideal candidate must have:
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, IT, Physics, or a similar discipline.
- Preferably industrial IT technology certifications (e.g., SQL Server, Python, and/or modern Programming Languages).
- Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Team players with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to focus on and prioritize key issues.
Responsibilities
The applicant will be responsible for:
- Contributing to technical discussions in areas of asset performance, digital integrations, and/or data-driven models.
- Collaborating with the lead or senior engineer for project design and delivery while independently managing segments of work with minimum supervision.
- Conducting product demonstrations and proof of concepts.
- Supporting the development of conceptual, user requirement, functional, and detailed technical design specifications, providing support and expertise for digital integration applications.
- Gaining acceptance of designs from customer stakeholders and effectively communicating process and system change impacts.
- Ensuring the availability of appropriate test scripts, test data, test logs, and defect logs to facilitate quality delivery.
- Participating in and facilitating critical project activities to ensure client buy-in and acceptance.
- Supporting change management within client organizations through training materials, business process diagrams, and conducting training sessions.
- Sharing technical knowledge with project teams, supervisors, and other disciplines.
- Communicating with internal teams about technical issues and escalating them early in the project lifecycle.
- Providing pre-sales support to proposal teams.
- Showcasing and defining solutions to potential customers.
Conditions
The position requires approximately 30% travel, primarily within Saudi Arabia and the surrounding Middle East region.
