Responsibilities
In this role, the Technical Application Engineer Trainee will be responsible for:
- Business development of the GA Market, including product prequalification and understanding industry competitors.
- Expanding the company's presence in Grid Automation (Protection & Control for Substations). Prequalifying products to ensure they meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Providing L2 technical support and customer engagement, building strong relationships with clients in the Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors.
- Presenting technical information to clients through workshops, seminars, or one-on-one meetings and handling marketing efforts related to product launches and industry events.
- Coordinating activities with GE sales, engineering, and services teams for effective collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Analytical and strong communication skills.
- Self-driven, attentive to detail, outcome-oriented, and possess a good working attitude.
- Must not be currently employed or have participated in Tamheer before.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness and ability to work full-time for a 6-month period.
- Fluency in English.
