Application Engineer Trainee - Tamheer

The Tamheer program is an on-the-job training initiative for Saudi graduates, aiming to prepare them for full-time employment.

Responsibilities
In this role, the Technical Application Engineer Trainee will be responsible for:

• Business development of the GA Market, including product prequalification and understanding industry competitors.
• Expanding the company's presence in Grid Automation (Protection & Control for Substations). Prequalifying products to ensure they meet industry standards and client requirements.
• Providing L2 technical support and customer engagement, building strong relationships with clients in the Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors.
• Presenting technical information to clients through workshops, seminars, or one-on-one meetings and handling marketing efforts related to product launches and industry events.
• Coordinating activities with GE sales, engineering, and services teams for effective collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Analytical and strong communication skills.
• Self-driven, attentive to detail, outcome-oriented, and possess a good working attitude.
• Must not be currently employed or have participated in Tamheer before.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness and ability to work full-time for a 6-month period.
• Fluency in English.
