Application Engineer

Join our forward-thinking team at Danfoss as an Application Engineer Trainee. This role is part of a one-year trainee program that provides opportunities for career advancement within our organization. Danfoss drives, specifically variable frequency drives (VFDs), are sophisticated electronic devices that regulate the speed and torque of electric motors to optimize energy consumption and improve operational efficiency across various applications, including HVAC systems and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of application solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including local application engineers, to enhance product performance.
• Engage in customer visits and pre-sales activities such as simulations and solution design.
• Participate in commissioning and service trips alongside partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Receive projects supervised by a mentor to ensure a structured learning experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Under/Post Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Maritime Engineering, or a relevant technical background.
• 0-2 years of experience post-graduation.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid driver's license.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with strong personal development and career aspirations.
