Responsibilities
- Investigate and coordinate the resolution of application/service problems.
- Ensure operational documentation for the system is current and fit for purpose.
- Advise on the correct and effective use of the system.
- Review application/system software updates and identify necessary actions.
- Utilize application/system management software tools to collect logs and carry out analysis.
- Execute agreed operational procedures related to application configuration, installation, and maintenance.
- Utilize application management tools to collect and report performance statistics and error logs.
- Automate application tasks, processes, and deployments effectively.
- Monitor service components of applications and respond to routine support requests.
- Assist users in addressing issues related to applications.
- Perform application administration tasks and resolve related issues.
- Aid in the investigation and resolution of integrations with applications.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to other application services engineers.
- Adhere to and enforce all necessary controls and information security policies and practices.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution in computer science or a related field.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience demonstrating required competencies.
- Proficient in delivering on complex technical tasks and managing small projects.
- Background in project implementation and technical supervision of junior staff.
