Responsibilities:
- Investigate and coordinate the resolution of potential and actual application/service problems.
- Ensure that operational documentation for the system is fit for purpose and current.
- Advise on the correct and effective use of the system.
- Review application/system software updates and identify those that merit action.
- Utilize application/system management software and tools to collect logs and analyze data.
- Carry out agreed application operational procedures, including configuration, installation, and maintenance.
- Use application management tools to collect and report application performance statistics and error logs.
- Automate application tasks, processes, and deployments to ensure efficiency.
- Monitor service components of the applications.
- Respond to routine requests for support and investigate in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist users in their work and resolve issues.
- Perform application administration tasks.
- Assist in investigations related to integrations with the application.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to other application services engineers.
- Ensure adherence to the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and other compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Qualifications: A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution in computer science or a related subject area.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience demonstrating required competencies. Experience in project implementation and offering technical supervision to junior staff is preferred.
