What you will do:
- Deliver comprehensive functional support for wholesale banking systems, with a focus on treasury, trade finance, and cash management, ensuring seamless integration and optimal operation.
- Manage and resolve incidents related to application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of applications to meet business requirements.
- Manage relationships with application vendors, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering to support application enhancements and new implementations.
- Develop and implement IT disaster recovery plans for wholesale banking applications, ensuring data availability and system resilience.
- Provide adequate training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the banking applications.
- Develop and maintain management information reports and dashboards using relevant tools.
- Anticipate application problems and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Eximbills /Trade Finance application support and configuration management.
- Good functional knowledge on Eximbills /Trade Finance products (Import LC, Export LC, Collections, Guarantees).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in handling interface related issues and resolution of tickets with quality and within SLA.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Java debugging knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in UNIX commands.
- Experience and understanding of typical software development lifecycles and best practices.
