Position

As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for performing deep-dive analysis into application failures across various platforms. Your role includes leading "War Room" sessions for critical incidents and conducting thorough root cause analyses for recurring issues. You will also monitor system health using tools like ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic, and maintain the technical knowledge base for accurate support documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on web applications (ReactJS) and mobile applications (React Native, Flutter) for issues such as UI bugs and platform-specific crashes.
  • Investigate backend problems including Spring Boot logs, API failures, and database performance bottlenecks.
  • Assist in the deployment of hotfixes and releases, performing post-release sanity checks across all platforms.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in application support or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Technical Skills

  • Frontend & Mobile: Hands-on experience debugging ReactJS and strong knowledge of React Native and Flutter.
  • Backend: Proficiency in Spring Boot architecture and Java.
  • Databases & Tools: Strong SQL skills and experience with Postman and log aggregation tools.
  • Infrastructure: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR).
  • Percentage of First-Time Fixes.
  • Application Uptime and Crash-free session percentage.
  • SLA Compliance Rate.
