Application Support Specialist

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience in large organizations, preferably in the Banking or Finance industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in application production support within the ITIL framework and possess excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Application troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance
• Application performance tuning and optimization
• Ticket resolution with a focus on quality and within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Proactive monitoring and incident analysis
• Workflow maintenance and configuration
• Knowledge of the following asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, ETF, and Structured Products
• Understanding of portfolio management and the trade life cycle in wealth management
• Collateral management concepts (Pledge/UnPledge)
• Experience with middleware systems (TIBCO/Open API/Micro Services)
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and MSSQL
• Strong knowledge of the .Net application framework
• Familiarity with Unix commands
• Limit monitoring, concepts of LTV, haircut, margin calls, and liquidation
• Basic knowledge of market data
• Experience with Advent/SAXO/FINIQ platforms
• Understanding open-source applications and application licensing
• Knowledge of databases such as Mongo, Hive, and PostgreSQL
