Applied Scientist

Inception is seeking a highly proficient and accomplished Applied Scientist to develop efficient deep-learning and generative AI algorithms, specializing in computer vision and natural language processing. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our product development teams, applying emerging technologies across a diverse range of applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the design, analysis, and optimization of foundational and applied research to power state-of-the-art AI algorithms and model capabilities.
• Work on comprehensive solutions that integrate various modalities, including text, audio, and visual data, to enhance AI's ability to understand and interpret human interaction.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across teams for the design, development, and continual improvement of AI algorithms, ensuring optimized implementations.
• Work alongside product development teams to integrate new algorithms and models into broader product offerings and conduct proofs of concept as needed.
• Propose scenarios where AI techniques could improve customer efficiency.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to the business development team.

Requirements
To qualify, you must have:

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, or an AI-related field, with specialization in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Speech and Audio desired.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing AI algorithms for various modalities.
• A track record of conducting high-level research, preferably with publications in peer-reviewed journals or product-driven research experience.
