Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities:

• Report to the Senior Applied Scientist and play a crucial part in pioneering research and development across various facets of AI.
• Creation and optimization of cutting-edge AI algorithms and deep learning models.
• Contribute to advancements in areas such as semantic understanding, multidimensional data interpretation, and human-machine interactions.
• Apply innovative efforts to a spectrum of practical use cases in pivotal industries.
• Engage in the design, analysis, and optimization of foundational and applied research to power the state-of-the-art AI algorithms and model capabilities.
• Stay well-informed of emerging trends and integrate various modalities to enhance AI’s ability to understand and interpret human interaction.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across teams at Core42 for the design and development of AI algorithms.
• Work alongside product development teams to integrate new algorithms and models into broader product offerings.
• Propose scenarios where AI techniques could improve the efficiency of the customer’s business.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to the business development team.

Qualifications

Skills and attributes for success:

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, or AI-related field.
• Specialization in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Speech and Audio are highly desirable.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in developing AI algorithms for various modalities.
• Track record of conducting high-level research, preferably evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals or a history of product-driven research and development.
• A highly curious and inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
• In-depth knowledge of the latest developments in AI and machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills.
