About the Job
Oracle is currently looking for a talented and motivated linguist to join our Marketing team as an Arabic Translation Specialist (US English to Modern Standard Arabic). We are seeking a skilled language professional who can contribute, in our customers’ preferred language, to the successful adoption of the latest cloud technologies in Oracle’s unique voice and tone.
This position has critical customer impact around the globe through all our public web properties and sales enablement resources. The responsibilities include:
- Post-editing machine-translated marketing content in a timely manner to increase marketing content availability for Arabic-speaking customers.
- Working closely with the Translation Manager and Project Management Team to ensure adherence to Oracle’s quality standards, including voice and tone and brand guidelines, and schedule.
- Controlling and improving the Arabic machine translation engine’s quality by assessing output and providing linguistic feedback to the machine translation development team.
- Owning the Arabic linguistic quality for the group's translated content. Basic knowledge of the Hebrew language is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with localization teams to adapt material to meet high linguistic quality and cultural standards.
- Creating and maintaining product-specific terminology glossaries and language style guides to ensure consistency and cultural conformity.
- Utilizing translation, localization, or publication tools such as Trados, RoboHelp, or FrameMaker may be needed.
Requirements
- Experience in linguistics and translation.
- Familiarity with localization tools is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of the Hebrew language is a plus.
