Arabic Video Recording - Saudi Arabia

About the Role

If you are a native Arabic speaker, this is your chance to use your language skills to contribute to the improvement of AI technology. You will participate in a project by recording a short video in your native dialect, which will assist in the development of datasets for AI applications.

What You’ll Do

• Record a single 15–20 second video in your native Arabic dialect.
• Speak naturally without using a script. You can briefly introduce yourself, mention where you live, or discuss an interest/hobby.
• Maintain eye contact with the camera throughout the recording.
• After recording, answer a few short questions about yourself, such as age range, country, and dialect, to help organize the dataset.

Recording Specifications (must meet all to be accepted)

• Video quality: 1080p or higher.
• Length: 15–20 seconds.
• Framing: Head-and-shoulders, with face centered and fully visible.
• Lighting/Background: Well-lit face (avoid harsh shadows) with a plain/neutral background.
• Expression: Neutral or relaxed while speaking naturally.
• Audio: Clear speech, free of background noise, music, or echo.
• Orientation: Either portrait or landscape acceptable; footage should be steady with no shaking.
• Environment: Quiet indoor setting preferred.
• Prohibited: Use of filters/beauty modes, sunglasses, hats/hoods, face coverings, headphones/earbuds, watermarks, stickers, borders, or other people/pets in the frame.

You Are a Fit If You’re

• 18 years of age or older.
• A native Arabic speaker (self-identified). You may be asked to complete a brief screening step to confirm your dialect before your submission is finalized.
