Architect

About the Job
This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in business analysis and architecture, specifically in the context of enterprise application implementations. You will be responsible for leveraging your hands-on experience as a Pega Business Architect or Senior Business Architect to ensure a seamless integration of business requirements with technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and convert them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design and implement workflows, case management processes, SLAs, and business rules within the Pega platform.
• Lead workshops to facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure clear communication of project goals and objectives.
• Conduct thorough requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, and functional documentation processes.
• Work closely with Pega technical architects and development teams to bridge business requirements with technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies, managing product backlogs and sprint-based deliveries.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, including testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release processes.
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and propose effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–12+ years of business analysis or business architecture experience with substantial exposure to Pega projects.
• Proven leadership in requirements gathering and process design for complex enterprise projects.
• Direct experience as a Pega Business Architect or Senior Business Architect, with hands-on knowledge of case lifecycle design and Pega business rules.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management, Agile delivery, and UAT coordination.
• Strong communication, analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within banking, financial services, retail banking, lending, payments, cards, or customer service operations.
• Familiarity with Pega Customer Service, Pega Customer Decision Hub, or other industry frameworks.
• Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM), business process reengineering, and workflow automation.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and business process modeling tools.
• Background in large-scale Pega transformation and modernization programs.
• Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification or equivalent credentials in Pega business architecture.
