Architecture Advisor

The Customer Advisory Architecture Advisor (AA) works closely with the company's Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem to define the account strategy. AAs are responsible for bridging the gap between the customer’s business strategy and relevant solutions through crafting the to-be business and solution architectures, as well as designing a transformation roadmap at the enterprise level to facilitate the customer’s adoption of Cloud-based architectures. They act as trusted advisors for the customer to achieve their desired SAP-based Enterprise Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Support the assessment of current customer solutions from the company and identify potential areas for faster solution adoption and consumption, as well as footprint expansion.
• Engage with customers to support sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey as an integral member of the company's account team.
• Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure consistency, cooperation, and alignment with the company's organizations, the customer, and partners.
• Create an SAP Architecture Vision for the customer and understand their business process map and business model with an industry reference architecture focus.
• Drive customer cloud/hybrid transformation roadmap definition in both business and application focus.

Requirements

• Considerable experience as an IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor, demonstrating successful outcomes over multiple years.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS models and Cloud-based commerce/business networks.
• Proven track record of success in the selected industry area, if required, and experience in driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
• Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; MBA or equivalent degree preferred. TOGAF or SAPIEA-10 certifications and experience using EAM tools are advantageous.
