- Architectural Vision: Define software architecture for projects, strategically selecting technologies, frameworks, and patterns for robust, scalable systems that align with business goals.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders (project managers, business analysts, developers) to ensure architectural alignment and address needs.
- Technology Evaluation: Select third-party tools, libraries, and platforms, considering cost, performance, compatibility, and long-term suitability.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential technical challenges, assess architecture, and devise strategies to ensure system health.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation (design decisions, patterns, standards) to guide development.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in a senior-level architect role or demonstrable equivalent experience designing complex software systems.
- E-commerce Architecture Expertise: Proven expertise in architecting and leading the development of large-scale e-commerce solutions, with a strong understanding of industry-leading platforms (SFCC, Shopify, Commercetools, Open Source).
- Customer & Marketing Technology: Deep understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, with a focus on optimizing their integration within e-commerce systems for enhanced customer experience and marketing outcomes.
- Specific Technology Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Integrations: Mulesoft
- ERP: Oracle, SAP
- OMS: Fluent
- CRM: Salesforce
- Industry Certifications: Relevant Cloud certifications strongly preferred.
