Position

The company is seeking an Area 3 Field Engineer to join their team in Riyadh for the development of the King Salman International Airport. This role involves managing a team of Field Engineers while providing leadership in work planning, material management, safety and quality control, technical inspections, and coordination of system turnover and subcontracts. The Area 3 Field Engineer will report to the Lead Field Engineer and ensure that field engineering activities comply with safety and quality standards, meeting project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee technical compliance of contractors to ensure alignment with specifications and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with Engineering teams to provide accurate information to Construction teams.
  • Monitor contractor performance, project status, and adherence to schedules and cost controls.
  • Conduct site-based technical coordination with contractors, engineers, and clients.
  • Lead reviews to ensure availability of construction work fronts through assessment of schedules and resource plans.
  • Verify compliance with permits and licenses required for site activities.
  • Manage Field Engineers responsible for approving technical documentation and contractor queries.
  • Ensure all materials meet international standards and specifications.
  • Facilitate the systematic completion of project closeout activities.
  • Maintain effective relationships with functional departments and jobsite contractors.
  • Provide technical advice and monitor contractor performance to ensure quality outputs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant experience without a degree.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a high motivation to succeed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East is highly preferred.
