Area Manager, FC Operations

Join the company as an Area/Shift Manager to gain experience in leading a large and diverse team while ensuring your area of the business meets customer demand. This hands-on role will provide insight into the complexities of operations within a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
• Analyzing and implementing corrective actions to maintain high levels of quality and productivity across all shifts.
• Supporting and leading a team, handling administrative tasks, and fostering a strong team culture.
• Analyzing performance metrics and suggesting process improvements to enhance work efficiency and customer service.
• Collaborating with other managers to standardize shift processes.

A Day in the Life

You will work shifts at one of our operational sites, with a primary focus on maintaining safety standards and monitoring process efficiency. Your daily tasks will include routine team management, operational tasks, individual escalations, process improvement work, as well as operational contingency planning. Collaboration with colleagues from various teams and external partners is essential to meet customer demands and targets.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of company (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Physical capability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
