Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is a global independent research and development institute focused on addressing society's biggest challenges through pioneering research and technology. The Artificial Intelligence Cross-Center Unit, part of TII, collaborates with various research centers to drive innovation using artificial intelligence.

As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer within this unit, you will engage in both algorithmic and infrastructure aspects, closely collaborating with researchers to translate proposals into optimized, scalable implementations. This role involves designing AI models, converting them into APIs, performing statistical analysis on big data, managing project infrastructure, and developing machine learning models into production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI models to meet project requirements.
• Convert AI/ML models into APIs for developers.
• Perform statistical analysis on large datasets.
• Manage project infrastructure and AI model development.
• Collaborate on machine learning model development.
• Develop and deploy scalable tools for machine learning training and inference.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance system performance.
• Apply software engineering best practices to machine learning.
• Communicate with stakeholders and contribute to technology transfers.

Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc degree in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a related role.
• Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python).
• Comfort with Linux administration.
• Experience with cloud computing and database systems.
• Good knowledge of common machine learning tools (e.g., Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
