ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Assembly Associate Engineer, you will support assembly operations by ensuring that products are assembled according to engineering requirements, quality standards, and production schedules. This role involves close collaboration with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to enhance assembly processes, resolve technical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support daily assembly operations and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Assist in resolving production and assembly-related technical issues.
- Review engineering drawings, manufacturing orders, and assembly instructions.
- Support the implementation of new products and process improvements.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize assembly methods and workflows.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for quality issues.
- Monitor assembly performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI), process validation, and qualification activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure product conformity.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or assembly operations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of aircraft structures, composites, or metallic assemblies.
- Familiarity with SAP, ERP, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and aerospace manufacturing processes.
