The company is looking for an amazingly talented Assets Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support municipal and infrastructure asset activities by coordinating permits, maintaining accurate project records, and assisting with planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Location: Al Dhafrah Region, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintain and update asset registers in Osool, including asset tagging, coding, and classification.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure asset data is current and compliant with applicable asset management standards.
- Supervise and monitor infrastructure permits from initiation to closure, ensuring accurate processing, coordination with relevant departments, and full regulatory compliance.
- Review, analyze, and process land status and land-use modification requests aligned with municipal master plans and regulations.
- Ensure new/updated assets are captured and integrated into the asset system; maintain audit-ready records and documentation.
- Develop investment plans and monitor expenditure across infrastructure and municipal systems.
- Monitor progress of IT Infrastructure-related works/projects, follow up closures, and report issues impacting quality or timelines.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and authorities as required; attend meetings and prepare progress reports and technical documentation.
- Conduct field inspections to validate asset conditions and prepare condition and lifecycle assessment reports.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent with minimum 8 years of experience.
- Strong IT and computer literacy for asset systems, records, and reporting; ability to use project-specific engineering software.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure permits and municipal approval systems.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and construction processes and industry practices.
- Abu Dhabi practicing engineers registration preferred.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is likely required; additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specifically mentioned.
