About the Role This role involves the validation and confirmation of Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Market products, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payments, trade validations, and settlement processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring, reconciliation, and control of multiple financial transactions, as well as maintaining relationships with corporate customers regarding FX trade conditions. Key Responsibilities - Validate and confirm Foreign Exchange and Money Market products. - Ensure the Settlement Instructions (SSI) are correctly updated and complete all payments by the currency cutoff time. - Monitor Credit Provisioning (CP) conditions for corporate customers related to FX trades. - Utilize sound knowledge of the Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) trade settlement system. - Perform daily payment reconciliation between booking systems and the payment gateway. - Possess extensive knowledge of SWIFT message types (MT103/MT202/MT300/MT320/MT600) along with Islamic financing concepts. - Validate Islamic Murabaha, Wakala, and Reverse Murabaha trade transactions and documentation along with commodity execution. - Daily monitor Nostro outstanding items and follow up with counterparties regarding delayed payments. - Conduct Money Market cash flow monitoring, daily settlements, and confirmation matching. - Ensure all FX payments are made on the correct Value Date. - Validate FX and Money Market trades. - Perform control checks on the deal flows between T24 and DealHub. - Check all transmission copies of payments and receipt messages to ensure timely transmission. - Monitor daily cash flow and payments. - Prepare UAEFTS payments daily and monitor payment queues. - Ensure zero operational loss by maintaining full control across all products, including settlements, confirmations, and payments. - Process daily commodity transactions, settlements, and confirmations. - Process FX transactions for Delivery Versus Payment (DVP) customers, ensuring funds are received before other currency funds are paid out. - Track margin funds received from DVP customers specific to a deal. - Manage gold swap product transactions executed with the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX), adhering to specified cutoff timings. Requirements - Strong knowledge of FX and Money Market products. - Experience with CLS trade settlement system and Treasury Accounting related to FX / Money Market products. - Proficient in SWIFT messaging standards and corresponding confirmation criteria. - Ability to monitor and manage daily cash flow effectively. - Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
