Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Information Technology to strategically plan, organize, and lead the activities of the Information Technology team.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the company’s information technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, telecommunications systems, and peripheral devices.
- Provide timely and effective technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related challenges.
- Lead the procurement, installation, and configuration of new IT systems, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with security standards.
- Safeguard the security and integrity of the company’s digital ecosystem through robust backups and cybersecurity measures.
- Assist in managing key IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Facilitate training for team members to effectively utilize technology systems and applications.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; certifications in CompTIA A+, CCNA, or MCSA are preferred.
- Proven IT experience in a luxury hotel environment, focusing on systems administration and network management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and a strong understanding of operating systems, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking skills, with experience in IT project management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
