Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within core reporting systems.
- Process routine financial transactions in line with established procedures and reporting deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial governance, and documentation standards.
- Support financial reporting and business performance analysis through accurate data collation.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies, processing delays, and system issues.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audit and reconciliation purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in finance operations or accounting support, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle Financials or SAP is preferred.
- Pursuing or holding a foundational accounting qualification (CAT, AAT or equivalent) is preferred.
- ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualifications are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Understanding of internal controls, financial procedures, and data confidentiality.
