Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time Job Description: Key Responsibilities: - Business Planning & Development: Support management in developing and updating container business plans for the company terminals, aligning with business development and sales strategies. Identify emerging opportunities through continuous industry research, feasibility assessments, and financial evaluations of new business ideas. Liaise with local and international trade bodies and industry stakeholders to contribute to trade promotion initiatives. - Business Intelligence & Reporting: Enhance reporting structures and performance dashboards for timely and accurate business intelligence across the company systems. Prepare monthly analytical reports highlighting business variations, trends, risks, and opportunities for management review. Create forecasting and budgeting models to track performance and support commercial decision-making. - Market & Economic Research: Compile and analyze data on market size, cargo trends, and commodity movements across the UAE, GCC, and Levant region. Conduct competitive benchmarking of regional ports and terminals, monitor macroeconomic, industrial, and geopolitical developments impacting port performance. - Pricing & Tariff Analysis: Support contract pricing and tariff revisions through cost-benefit analysis, competitor benchmarking, and impact assessments. Develop and review commercial pricing models to optimize profitability while maintaining competitiveness. - Data Analysis & Visualization: Consolidate data from various sources to create an accurate version of business data. Maintain dashboards and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., SAS, Power BI) to communicate trends and performance clearly. - Systems & Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance automation, data integration, and reporting capabilities. Guide users on data access and visualization standards while supporting informational system enhancements. - Stakeholder & Project Management: Assist with RFI/RFP responses and tender evaluations. Define and manage project plans for business tenders, ensuring communication with stakeholders and addressing issues proactively. - Database & Market Intelligence Maintenance: Maintain structured databases covering service deployments, regional port performance, tariffs, and throughput data. Provide quarterly updates to relevant authorities and support the marketing research function by managing data repositories for leadership reviews.
