Assistant Manager-Commercial

About the Role
The company Digital is building the backbone of the AI-driven economy with a focus on delivering hyperscale-ready infrastructure for AI workloads, enterprise expansion, and mission-critical applications. In this role, you will be integral to the commercial management of data center cooling infrastructure packages. Your responsibilities will ensure effective cost control, contract administration, procurement coordination, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle, specifically within the domain of cooling systems relevant to data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of cooling packages, including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, piping, and associated HVAC infrastructure for mission-critical data centers.
• Source Capex and Opex for Data Center Projects.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely closure of Data Center Project purchases that align with business interests.
• Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders across functions and externally with vendors/suppliers to drive alignment and maximize value.
• Track costs and ensure efficiencies are achieved year on year.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in commercial management, contracts, or quantity surveying.
• Experience in data center, HVAC, or large MEP infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with cooling packages, including chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, and piping systems.
