Position

The Assistant Manager – Digital Transformation will lead successful implementation of enhancements and transformation initiatives across OBDX, OBPAY, OBVAM, and OBLM platforms, including the Mind Gate application. This role requires identifying ways to reduce costs by improving operational efficiency and innovation. The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders, including Technology and Product teams, to ensure seamless implementation of enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and sign off the Corporate Service Hub Project.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the company implementation in New York, Oman, and India.
  • Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and recommend them to senior management for sign-off.
  • Identify critical defects and ensure timely escalation to management.
  • Test and implement DigiTB – a collection system across IBG countries.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of a digital strategy and change management plan for International and Corporate Banking groups in Oman, India, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and the USA.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Corporate Banking Operations, including Corporate Online Banking, Cash Management, and Correspondence Banking relationships.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate banking operations, encompassing end-to-end onboarding, maintenance, and project management platforms.
  • Strong organizational and presentation capabilities.
  • Excellent understanding of workflow streams, core banking systems, and other banking applications.
  • Ability to lead and support diverse teams, drawing on various skills to achieve strong team results.

Working Environment

  • Member of the development and implementation team (including off-shore) managing projects and IT initiatives.
  • Interacts with project stakeholders from business units, enabling units, and third-party representatives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including meetings, knowledge transfer, and activity reporting.
  • Ensure management is informed of risks, issues, project/activity status, and team accomplishments.

Problem Solving

  • Work on innovation projects to address internal and external challenges.
  • Perform root cause analysis and track incidents to closure on the team applications.
  • Recommend solutions to systems or process obstacles.

Decision Making Authority & Responsibility

  • Ensure operational change, incident, and problem management processes are executed.
  • Negotiate with third parties toward the best outcome for the project and organization (non-financial aspects).
