Assistant Manager | IT Audit | Audit & Assurance

About the Job: As an IT Audit Assistant Manager at the company, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and evaluating business and technology risks, internal controls, and opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively participating in decision-making with engagement management
• Generating innovative ideas and challenging the status quo
• Facilitating the use of technology-based tools in audit processes
• Assisting in engagement planning, economics, and billing
• Building and nurturing positive client relationships
• Participating in training efforts and proposal development

Your capability to understand clients' business environments and risk management approaches will be crucial. You will contribute to leadership by promoting personal learning, development, and effective communication skills.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (accounting experience is a plus)
• CISA certification is required; CPA and CIA certifications are a plus
• 6+ years of Information Technology Auditing experience
• Experience in testing General IT controls, information security, and change management
• Understanding of database technologies and financial audits
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft controls is desirable
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley and/or COSO standards is a plus
• Strong technical and management background in technical systems/environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage engagements, ensure deliverables meet specifications, and write report segments
