As an Assistant Manager in Tech Assurance, you will be responsible for engagement management, ensuring quality assurance on audits, and delivering practice objectives on a day-to-day basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively communicating technical issues to clients, both internal and external.
- Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and deliverables for all clients as specified in the engagement letter.
- Managing the seamless transition of new projects and clients.
- Planning and implementing changes to processes effectively.
- Proactively identifying and resolving process issues.
- Controlling any backlogs and ensuring quality of work through regular client meetings.
- Providing appropriate training to staff members.
- Monitoring financial KPIs for clients (e.g., Work In Progress reports, debtors, billings, and timely realizations).

Technical Skillset:
- Detailed understanding of core business process cycles such as Procure to Pay, Revenue to Receivables, and Record to Report.
- Familiarity with technology touchpoints in processes and their linkages to financial reporting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of General IT Controls, ERPs (SAP or Oracle), Operating Systems, Databases, and ERP Analytics.
- Working knowledge of Cyber Security, Business Continuity Management, and Emerging Technologies.
- Basic understanding of Data Analytics.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferable.
Education Requirements:
- Certified CA/CPA/ACCA is preferred; alternatively, CISA or CISM with an Engineering Degree and MBA (if not a CA/CPA/ACCA).
Work Experience Requirements:
- More than 7 years of IT Audit experience.
- Experience in IT Advisory, IT Audit Support, or Technology Risk Consulting in a Big 4.
- Working experience in a Financial Services institution will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar function in a Big 4 within a regulated environment is desirable.
